Red, White, & Blue Pie for Patriotic Holidays, Honoring Military Members, Etc. (Diabetic Friendly)

Bring out this Red, White, and Blue Pie to celebrate patriotic holidays, to honor military service members, etc.  This pie is easy and decorative.  But best of all it is good.  Blueberries, strawberries, white chocolate pudding; you know it’s going to be delicious.  This recipe is diabetic and diet friendly.  If you want, you can make it regular by using regular products where sugar-free are called for.

RED, WHITE, BLUE PIE<br />
1 baked, sugar-free pie shell

8 whole fresh strawberries, halved lengthwise

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

8-oz reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed

3/4 cup powdered sugar*

3/4 cup cold low-fat milk

1 small box sugar-free instant white chocolate pudding mix

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup sugar-free whipped topping

Arrange sliced strawberries in the bottom of the pie shell.  In a medium or large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.  Gradually add milk; mix well.  Using low speed of electric mixer, mix in pudding mix for about 2 minutes or until thickened.  Spread pudding mixture over berries in pie shell.  Place the blueberries in the center of the pie.  Arrange the strawberry halves around the edge of pie, tips pointing to the edge.  Using a large star tip, pipe whipped topping between the blueberries and strawberries.

*How to make sugar-free powdered sugar:     Put 3/4 cup of Splenda Granular and 2 tablespoons cornstarch in a blender and blend until it is a very fine powder.  0 grams of sugar and only 4 carbs per tablespoon.

Now don’t tell.  Most people won’t know the difference and you’ll be so proud of your pretty pie, cake, etc.

Enjoy!

Help answer the question about blueberry

I need a good recipe for blueberry pie, does anyone have one?
I'm making blueberry pie later today and the only decent recipe I can find is in the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. Does anyone have a good recipe for pie? I will be using pre-made dough (The Pillsbury RollOut Crust), but will make a lattice crust out of it for the top.

Also, I want to use fresh blueberries and as few preservatives as possible.

Thanks =)

I think is sounds lovely go for it, its only paint. If you get tired of it you can always repaint.

EDIT: Yes, it would balance each other.

Red: Red color carries the energy of Fire element in feng shui. Fire has always been a symbol of divine energy and can be both destructive and creative. It represents the energy of sun and life. A balanced feng shui Fire Element in your home will bring joy, excitement and sexual desire.

White: Purity and Innocence, White is also considered one of the supreme colors in Yogi traditions. Be it in the fresh snow or in the immaculate dress of a beautiful bride, pure White Color fascinates us with its feng shui energy of Innocence and Tranquility. White is the color of beginnings, as well as clear endings.

I would use a mango yellow/gold; my dining room is deep red with white and mango, and is gorgeous in my opinion.

I personally prefer to use white wine or cooking sherry as opposed to red wine in any dish, but especially with chicken …If you don't drink red wine you may not like the flavour it leaves when cooked. I drink red wine, love it in fact but I hate it in cooking leaves a sour taste. White wine has a subtle flavour that it adds to any dish though.

The cherry flavored ones shapes like rocket? Cherry red on top, white lime in the center and blue raspberry down low? Defiantly bomb pops.

There should be a black, white, and red wire coming from the sensor. The white wire gets connected to the white wire of the fixture and the white wire of the wall box. The black wire gets connected to the black wire of the wall box. The red wire gets connected to the black wire of the fixture.
